Discovery and Analysis – our team of DCM specialists are highly skilled at gaining a detailed view of the “as is” environment, gathering a client’s business requirements, establishing service groups, mapping business services to IT infrastructure components, confirming scope and launching the programme.

Detailed Migration Planning – liaising with service and business owners and identifying the client SLAs, defining the migration approach for both physical and virtual migrations, defining migration phases, establishing and initiating change management steps, performing and documenting rigorous risk assessment and mitigations, client communications and approvals.

Facility Infrastructure Preparation – the design and implementation of destination rack layout, power planning, switch port allocation and configuration, WAN provisioning, network staging environment and testing at target facility.

Delivery of Migrations – identify, validate and test backups, shutdown and start-up procedures tested, secure and mobilise support services, pre-migration testing of P2P, P2V and V2V migration models, test connectivity end to end, execute physical and virtual migrations in allocated change window, verification testing to ensure all services running to full functionality post migrations.

Closure and Remediation – decommission assets and securely destroy in line with WEEE directive, decommission and remove racks and cabling, decommission and remove air handling, fire suppression and HV systems, return space to required physical state.
