Mark Dignum (CITP, MBCI, MBCS, MISM) is the founder of DRP International, which was founded in 2002 specializing in; Business & Service Continuity, Disaster Recovery Management and Data Centre Services.

Mark has over 30+ years of expertise within the Information Technology and the Business Arena having worked for such prestigious global organisations as; Ove Arup & Partners (Civil Engineers), EMC (Technology Providers), Unilever (Personal Care & Foods), Deloitte LLP (Global Big 4 Consultancy), Nokia (Internet & Mobile Telecommunications) & Barclays (Global Banking).

Mark is recognised as an industry leader in all aspects relating to; Data Centres, IT Disaster Recovery, Service & Business Continuity as well as Crisis & Risk Management.

His experience in Data Centre’s expands to covering all aspects of; Site Procurement, Design & Build, Relocation (Physical & Virtual Migration) & Consolidation as well as all Day-1/Day-2 Operational Management for Co-location & Fully Managed Services. More specifically, over the past 15 years Mark has been heavily involved in many projects ranging from building multiple Data Centres in the Asia-Pac Region to providing expert specialist consulting services to a variety of clients across the Middle East and in mainland Europe.

Additionally, over the past 30+ years Mark has travelled and worked throughout the world as both a Resiliency Consultant and a live Disaster Recovery Specialist. With some notable success stories including development and testing of technical recovery plans, coordinating live recoveries of IT Data Centre Disasters as well as facilitating live Work Area Recovery Invocations in the UK as well as in mainland Europe.

Mark is an accredited member of the; Business Continuity Institute, the British Computer Society, the UpTime Institute, the Project Management Institute and also the Institute of IT Service Management. And he is a major contributor to various professional working and steering groups around the globe.
